U-Connect was an application designed to aid University students in feeling an enhanced sense of safety whilst travelling alone to and from their campus. It has two main functionalities:

• Displays a real-time list of train schedules. This allows users to filter through specific trains, with each train displaying a color-coordinated visual of each carriage, notifying the user of the number of similar users, based on the color.

• Contains a social media component, where users can open chat rooms and message other users to meet on specific trains, in specific carriages.
